In its 2CD debut album the young Italian ensemble I Madrigalisti Estensi presents unknown masterpieces of the baroque era: sacred music by G.B. Vitali composed for the Court of Modena (Italy) at the end of the XVII Century. Almost forgotten, these scores have been lying for last three centuries in the Estense Library of Modena.
